Message Z32 brakes, then the difference has nothing to do with some vague undefined notion of being "modern", it is again size and pad material for a car that is built specifically for roads where 120+ mph is not unreasonable.

If someone is planning on spending a lot of time up around 120 on public roads, then they should really take it to the track, and get a BBK while they are at it.

If someone is about to take the leap and has already gotten the most out of the stock brakes, it would be great to see a properly designed back-to-back test of 70-0 mph stops just to see how much actual improvement there is when going from modified stock brakes to a particular size BBK.

I have never hidden my opinion that Nissan skimps on brakes, but they do not provide something that is not adequate for street use. My criticism is that even on their so-called performance cars and models they did not provide even optional brakes for the enthusiast to use the car at the next level....as opposed to Porsche, BMW, and any other brand they like to pretend they market themselves against in those cases. For many many years you could get optional brakes for their cars that could withstand abuse.
